Who We Are

Ormond Childcare and Preschool is a family-owned and operated early learning centre dedicated to nurturing confident, independent learners through a child-centred approach inspired by the Montessori Method. We foster a safe, supportive environment where creativity, exploration, and self-directed learning are at the core of every day.

Our centre caters to children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age, with six thoughtfully designed rooms and a spacious outdoor area that includes a nature-inspired playground and sandpit. These environments are purpose-built to support physical development, imaginative play, and a love of learning.

We are proud to operate in full alignment with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care and education.

As a truly community-minded centre, we believe in building strong connections beyond the classroom. From our vibrant community garden to special family events such as our Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Zumbini Showcase, we strive to create a sense of belonging for both children and their families.

Certificates Required

• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• First Aid/CPR & Anaphylaxis/Asthma Training
• Child Protection Training
• Food Handling Certificate
• Two Professional References
